ADDRESS CORRECTION
In the event a consignee’s address is incorrect, Maersk will attempt to find the correct address. If the shipment is to be delivered to another address, a re-delivery fee will be assessed in accordance with current delivery rates. If the correct address cannot be determined, the shipper will be contacted only for disposition. If the shipment is returned, it will be at the shipper’s expense.
BILLING
Shipments will be accepted with the freight charges being billed prepaid, collect or third party. The shipper and consignee are liable jointly and separately for all unpaid charges. If no block is checked on the Maersk way bill, the shipment will automatically be prepaid.
